FundApps Tasks, Notifications, and Mentions

Overview

FundApps will periodically push out Tasks, Notifications, and other important information to your environment.

Tasks

FundApps Tasks require your direct action and should be treated with urgency to ensure proper functionality.

It is vital to address Tasks in a timely manner, as some include specific actions with deadlines that must be met.

If left unaddressed, certain task actions can prevent rules from running effectively. This can lead to missed disclosures or a high volume of unknown alerts. Actioning these items ensures the most effective use of FundApps and provides peace of mind regarding your compliance requirements.

You can locate Tasks via the main Dashboard. Alternatively, you can access this information by selecting the Results dropdown menu within the Shareholding Disclosure page and selecting Tasks. From this screen, you can filter and manage all current tasks.

Examples of FundApps Tasks

FundApps Tasks include anything requiring action or acknowledgement. For example:

  • When files need to be re-run following the release of new rule versions.

  • Changes to property requirements.

  • Deadlines for approving new rule versions.

  • Re-running an end-of-quarter positions file following the release of the latest SEC 13F securities list.

Mentions

Mentions are located via the @ symbol icon in the upper-right navigation bar. This replaces the previous alarm bell icon.

Mentions serve as alerts for assignments, results comments, and may also indicate when a new Task has been created for your attention.

While some Mentions may not require immediate action, you should read them carefully because they often indicate changes that might impact your results. To help manage your workflow, you can use the envelope icon associated with each mention to mark them as read.

Notifications

Notifications can be found within your In-App Messenger, represented by a chat icon in the bottom-right corner of your environment. They can be sent across as Messages or as News Items.

Notifications may not require any immediate action; however, please read them carefully, as they can indicate changes that might impact your results.

Examples of Notifications

Notifications are generally more informational and may not require action. For example:

  • Announcements

  • New Features

  • Rule Properties
