Overview
When an instrument is provided with a CommoditySymbol that does not match data from FIA Tech, the dashboard displays an Unknown result. This is because the system cannot match your position against FIA data.
As a result, the engine cannot determine which instruments to aggregate on that specific exchange, displaying an Unknown status for all positions on that exchange.
How to Identify and Resolve Mismatched CommoditySymbols
Select the Unknown result on your dashboard to view the list of unmatched CommoditySymbols.
Navigate to Monitoring > Position Limits > FIA and locate the exchange where the contract trades.
Locate the Contract Code column to find the exact CommoditySymbol required by the engine to correctly aggregate your positions and monitor them against the relevant limits.
Resolve the mismatch by performing one of the following actions:
Update the values directly in your positions file; or
Create a data override to align all contracts traded on that market with the FIA Tech identifier. Some clients use Market as the condition property to create the data override.
