When disclosing short positions under the European Short Selling Regulation (SSR) regime, most standard forms require information about both the "Position Holder" and the "Reporting Person". It's possible to automatically populate both sections in a disclosure form whenever needed.

From the Portfolio & Entities screen, find and select the portfolio/entity you'd like to update. Then locate the Form Properties tab, where you can set both the company's Contact Details and the Reporting Person's details.

There are three primary ways to configure these properties. Review the scenarios below and follow the instructions that best match your reporting structure.

Instructions: Fill in only the Position Holder details and leave the Reporting Person details blank.

​Output: The Reporting Person section of the forms will not be filled in, as it is not required when the position holder and the reporting person are identical.

Use this configuration when the reporting person is always the same, regardless of who is logged into the platform, and is different from the Position Holder.

Instructions: Fill in both the Position Holder details and the Reporting Person details.

​Output: Both the Position Holder section and the Reporting Person section of the form will be filled in with the details entered.

Use this configuration when different people might submit reports. In this setup, it is assumed that all persons reporting for a company have the same phone, fax, and company address (address, postcode, city, province, country).

Instructions: Fill in all Position Holder and Reporting Person details, leaving only ReportingPersonFirst, ReportingPersonLast, and ReportingPersonEmail blank. In this setup,

​Output: Both the Position Holder section and the Reporting Person section of the report will be filled in, leaving the reporting person's name and email empty for the correct person to fill in manually.
