Enfusion Implementation
Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

The FundApps and Enfusion partnership enables our clients to keep on track with compliance reporting. With the disclosure of shareholdings handled by FundApps’ advanced rules engine, a trusted data feed, verification by in-house teams of regulatory and legal experts, and rapid integration, the FundApps-Enfusion partnership removes the onus of having to build a positions file from scratch and all the resources that go into it.

With that being said, there are a few things we require from you to begin the process:

  • Please confirm with your CSM what data providers you have, i.e. Factset, Bloomberg, etc.

  • Your CSM will require written confirmation that we can add Enfusions email domain to your file: @enfusionsystems.com. Once this has been completed, you can add Enfusion as an API user to your environment. Please see the following article for more information about user creation.

Once you have set up Enfusion as an API user, you will need to send them the login email. They must complete the steps within 24 hours, or else the link will expire and need to be resent. Once completed, they will be able to supply the positions file.

  • Please email your Enfusion account manager as soon as possible to introduce us, and feel free to ask them to join our implementation calls.

Please Also Provide Your Enfusion Account Manager with the Following Information:

The endpoint URL, otherwise known as the API URL. If at any point you are having trouble, your FundApps CSM will be able to provide more clarity on the following:

Production environment: https://%company%-api.fundapps.co/

Your own FundApps URL will look like this: https://%company%.fundapps.co/

Ask them to confirm what data licences you hold with them. This is useful for FundApps to understand what data can be provided. In particular, we would like to know if you hold the following:

  • Bloomberg Data Web Licence

  • Refintiv Datascope select

We know that some clients who source market data via Enfusion might have some data gaps, e.g. an incomplete MarketsListedIn field. Please discuss this with Enfusion and explore ways to enrich the position data to ensure all necessary properties are sent to the FundApps service.

Please provide Enfusion with the following resources from FundApps:

  • Data points needed for the positions file are in our data spec here.

  • XML file creation documentation can be viewed on our Technical Documentation page.

  • With regards to our connection, we provide RESTful HTTPS API for automated file uploads. The following link will provide some more information. Please also see our Technical Documentation for more API examples.”

  • They can also refer internally to any of FundApp’s mutual clients to answer any queries about the positions file set-up, required properties, and scope of connection.

Feel Free to Use the Following Email Template:
