Overview
FundApps Tasks and Notifications are pushed to FundApps from the FundApps team and appear within your environment as alerts. It is important for FundApps Tasks to be addressed in a timely manner, and some FundApps Tasks have deadlines that need to be met. If left unaddressed, some task actions can prevent rules from running effectively, which can lead to missed disclosures or several unknown alerts. Actioning FundApps Tasks is important to ensure the most effective use of FundApps and subsequent peace of mind.
Notifications
Notifications can be found via the Alarm Bell icon. Notifications do not require any immediate action; however, please read them carefully, as they often indicate changes that might impact your results.
Tasks
FundApps Tasks, however, require action from your side and should be treated with urgency to ensure accurate FundApps functionality. They can be located via the Dashboard tab.
Alternatively, you could access this same information by selecting the Results dropdown next to the Dashboard tab and selecting Tasks. From this screen, you can filter and manage your tasks.
Examples of FundApps Tasks
FundApps Tasks involve anything that requires an action or acknowledgement. For example:
When files need to be re-run following new rule versions
Property requirement changes
Deadlines for new rule version approvals
Re-running an end-of-quarter positions file after the release of the latest SEC 13F securities list
Examples of Notifications
Notifications are more of an FYI and require no action. For example:
Announcements
New Features
Rule Properties
