Market Wide Position Limit

The National Stock Exchange of India (XNSE) will define some position limits in terms of the percentage (%) of the Market Wide Position Limit (MWPL).

It is important to note that MWPL and Open Interest are different. MWPL refers to the number of open positions allowed, whereas Open Interest refers to the number of open or outstanding contracts.
