The Global Companies Database (GCD) sources ISINs from an ANNA (Association of National Numbering Agencies) ISIN-LEI mapping file. The file is sourced daily and contains an ISIN-to-LEI relationship for NNAs (National Numbering Agencies) that have opted into the project. The current coverage is over 4.5 million ISINs.

The mapping file provides a direct link between an International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) and a Legal Entity Identifier (LEI). This ensures that data within the GCD is accurate and aligned with international standards for NNAs participating in the project.

FundApps sources this file daily to ensure the most up-to-date data is available. This allows for automated updates to the dataset as more NNAs opt in. As the project expands, ISIN coverage within GCD increases automatically.
