Overview
Deleting a user entirely from our platform is a complex and high-risk process that we strongly advise against due to its impact on our critical infrastructure. Unlike user deactivation, which is fully manageable by clients and preserves data integrity, permanent deletion requires direct interaction with core systems that support essential functions of our service. This not only introduces significant operational challenges but also increases the risk of unintended consequences, such as data corruption.
User Deletion Considerations and Process
Our clients, for the most part, are required to keep a complete audit trail for a number of reasons, namely (a) for internal auditing policy purposes and (b) to comply with their own regulatory obligations. Pursuant to our privacy policy, we retain data for the life of our agreement with our clients or unless we receive a data subject deletion request. If you feel that the reasons in (a) or (b) do not apply to you, then you may request the deletion of personal data related to specific users by emailing [email protected].
When deleting a user from FundApps, it’s important to be aware that this action will permanently remove all associated comments, actions, and the entire audit trail related to that user. Therefore, please include a confirmation that you understand all history will be deleted and that we cannot reverse the action once deletion takes place.
