Overview
Users may experience an error filing status or a "too many open position dates" message when attempting to disclose via the Filing Manager service. This article covers why these common automated filing workflow issues occur and provides step-by-step instructions to resolve them.
Issue 1: Error Filing Status
What This Means
The platform indicates that the automated disclosure submission failed to complete.
Why It Happens
The Filing Manager could not successfully transmit the submission to the regulator. More specific details regarding the underlying logic or communication failure can be reviewed within the Submission Message.
How to Resolve
Open the submission details to check the Submission Message for specific error text.
If you need to file manually, log in directly to your specific regulator's portal.
Proceed with manual filing to complete your disclosure requirement on time.
Reach out to Support via the In-App Messenger or via email if you are unsure what to do.
Issue 2: Too Many Open Position Dates Message
What This Means
The Send button is greyed out, and the platform displays a "too many open position dates" error message.
Why It Happens
The Filing Manager is designed to submit a maximum of seven days of results at a single time. This message is triggered when a submission contains more than seven days of results with unactioned filings.
How to Resolve
Select a single day that you wish to send from the submission list.
Verify that the Send button has been re-enabled for that specific date.
Click Send to transmit the filings for the selected day.
Repeat this process individually for each remaining day.
