How to Send Filings to the SFC After Uploading a Positions File

Overview

After a positions file is uploaded, results are automatically generated under the Shareholding Disclosure service.

Relevant positions that trigger the Short selling: Hong Kong (Value and/or Percent Limit) rules are then sent directly to the Filing Manager.

Reviewing and Submitting Disclosures

  1. Review positions displaying the Unactioned status on the Filing Manager page before sending them to the regulator

  2. Click Send to submit these positions to the SFC.

  3. Verify that the status for the positions in the Filing Manager and the results in Shareholding Disclosure change to Disclosing.

  4. A relevant comment will also be added to each result's Activity modal.

Confirming Successful Filings

Wait for the Filing Manager page to update with confirmation of a successful filing, which will automatically mark all relevant results in Shareholding Disclosure as Filed.

Review the Activity modal for each result to see the final confirmation information, recorded as a system comment.
