Overview
Filing Manager (FM) France allows users to submit their positions directly to the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF). This automated workflow streamlines the disclosure process by using credentials stored within the platform.
This article covers the necessary configuration for company and issuer names to ensure successful validation during the submission process. Following these steps will help you avoid errors and ensure your filings are processed accurately.
Company Name Validation
Before submitting, you must confirm that your company name in FundApps matches the name registered with the AMF. Filing Manager uses the CompanyName portfolio property during the validation process.
Case Sensitivity: This check is not case-sensitive.
Validation Failure: If the names do not match, the automation will not proceed with the filing.
How to Resolve: If there is a mismatch, save the AMF-registered name in the portfolio property CompanyNameAMFFR. Filing Manager France will then use this property to validate and proceed with the submission.
Resolving Issuer Name Mismatches
The AMF portal requires issuers to be selected by name from a dropdown menu. Once a name is selected, the portal automatically populates the corresponding ISIN.
Because exact names are required, the automated workflow may encounter issues if the issuer name in FundApps does not match the AMF portal exactly.
The Fallback Search Process
If an exact match is not found, Filing Manager initiates a fallback search:
Shorten the issuer name by removing characters from the end of the name provided in FundApps.
Search the portal dropdown again using the shortened name.
Repeat this process until a match is found.
Validate the ISIN populated by the portal against the ISIN in FundApps.
The filing will only continue if the ISINs match exactly. If no match is found, Filing Manager will return an "ISIN not found" error.

In the following example, the FundApps IssuerName is "Volkswagen", and the ISIN is "123456."
