Adding AFM Credentials to Filing Manager

Overview

This guide is meant to ensure the Filing Manager (FM) is correctly configured to communicate with the AFM portal.

Company Name for AFM Filings

For FM Netherlands filings, Filing Manager uses the input from the CompanyName field that's configured under Portfolios & Entities > Forms Properties > Company Details.

This should match the company name in the AFM portal. If it does not, add the matching name under Portfolios & Entities > Forms Properties > Netherlands > CompanyNameAFMNL.

The CompanyNameAFMNL field is only used for FM Netherlands filings.

How to Update FM Credentials & User Details

Add and save your AFM user credentials in the Filing Manager AFM screen by clicking the menu cog icon on the far right side. AFM access code and password must be configured for each entity.

Additionally, the User Details (name, telephone, and email) must be configured by clicking the silhouette icon.

Understanding Your AFM Access Code

To successfully authenticate, you will need to input your AFM Access Code. Please note the following regarding this credential to ensure successful setup:

  • The Access Code required is your AFM username, which isn't typically a work email address.

  • The code is provided to you directly when first setting up your AFM profile.

  • For context, if you were to log in to the provider's web portal, you would land on the Welcome at Loket AFM screen.

  • This screen contains a specific login block titled "Logging in with an AFM access code," which requires the exact same Access Code and Password you need to enter in Filing Manager.

BIC for AFM Filings

For FM Netherlands filings, Filing Manager uses the input from the BicCode field that's configured under Portfolios & Entities > Forms Properties > BicCode.

This is an optional field and should only be filled out if configured in the AFM portal.
